Founded in 2011, Operation Beachhead is a unique 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based at the Jersey Shore, but grew to have a reach from coast to coast.

Our goal and purpose is to offer Veteran, Troops, Disabled Individuals and their Families adaptive, recreational sports and social activities.  Our summer activities include Surfing, Paddle Boarding, Boogie Boarding and Kayaking.  Our winter activities include Sled Hockey, Ice Skating and Skiing.

Our organization grew out of the desire to provide fun and adventurous adaptive activities to the most brave and deserving among us - disabled US Military Veterans.  Generally these experiences, which we like to refer to as "Storming the Surf", are unavailable to the disabled without safe instruction.  We quickly realized this was an invigorating experience for many others, so in addition to Disabled Vets we also warmly welcome and strongly encourage all Active Duty Troops as well as Disabled Civilians to come experience "Storming the Surf."

Operation Beachhead is solely supported by donations and managed by volunteers whose purpose it is to help enhance the lives of our heroes and those with challenges, continues to expand its programs and services to offer a variety of year round activities.

Since founded in 2011, Operation Beachhead has expanded and now offers numerous events throughout the year, providing free services and opportunities to over 225 participants and 200 active volunteers.

An idea became a vision, a vision became a mission, the mission brought Operation Beachhead to life.  This life continues to grow through the support of those who want to show their appreciation and thanks to our veterans.
