An idea became a vision; a vision became a mission; and a mission brought Operation Beachhead to life. This life continues to grow through the support of people who wish to show their appreciation and thanks to our veterans.

Operation Beachhead Day ~ June 14, 2014
Operation Beachhead began the 2014
summer season with the celebration of Operation Beachhead Day on Saturday, June
14. In a 2012 Proclamation by
the Board of Chosen Freeholds and also in a 2012 Resolution proposed
by Senator Robert Singer and Assemblymen Sean Kean and David Rible, June 14th was
declared as Operation Beachhead Day in Monmouth County. Thus it is that
day that begins our summer season.
Many of the
past volunteers and participants along with some new faces, joined together to
celebrate the day on North Beach in Sea Girt.
As usual it was a beautiful day, which led to the opportunity to “Storm
the Surf” and establish “Beachhead”.
