An idea became a vision; a vision became a mission; and a mission brought Operation Beachhead to life.
This life continues to grow through the support of people who wish to show their appreciation and thanks to our veterans.

Operation Beachhead

An idea became a vision; a vision became a mission;
and a mission brought Operation Beachhead to life.

March Sled-Hockey Event

 A group of veterans from the Veterans East Orange Campus joined Operation Beachhead for a day of sled-hockey at the John J Piccolo Arena in Old Bridge NJ. Members from James J. Peters Veterans Administration Medical Center in the Bronx NY, were scheduled to join us, unfortunately  a problem with transportation kept them away. Operation Beachhead also welcomed participants who arrived on their own to enjoy a day on the ice.

The Old Bridge High School Hockey Team joined volunteer members from United War Veterans Council,  our regular group of volunteers from FDNY (Fire Department of New York), local Old Bridge police department volunteers, and volunteers from Operation Beachhead.

The Knights Kafe was ready to serve our guests when they arrived as was the rink staff. The rink personnel always has the ice groomed and ready for our early arrival, plus the sleds are lined up and ready for use. We can't thank them enough and the town of Old Bridge for the hospitality they extend all season.
