An idea became a vision; a vision became a mission; and a mission brought Operation Beachhead to life.
This life continues to grow through the support of people who wish to show their appreciation and thanks to our veterans.

Operation Beachhead

An idea became a vision; a vision became a mission;
and a mission brought Operation Beachhead to life.

January Dance Event

A new activity has been added to Operation Beachhead’s adventures; wheelchair dancing! Wheelchair dancing has been a dream of Operation Beachhead founder, Michael Ricci, for many years. On January 10th, with the cooperation of the Frank and Dave from the Manasquan Elks Club,  the dream became a reality.

The veterans from the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx and the East Orange Campus in New Jersey joined with the Operation Beachhead team members and volunteers for an afternoon of dancing and shared lunch. Everyone enjoyed the music supplied by Vietnam Veteran, Walter.

The event was an even bigger success than we anticipated and we look forward to even more dances. We thank all the members of the Elks Club for their cooperation, especially Dan and Frank. We thank Terry for securing such delicious desserts and treats for our guests. As always, our volunteers help make all of Operation Beachhead events successful.

Our next event is sled hockey at the John J Piccolo Arena in Old Bridge on January 24th. We will welcome, again the members of James J Peters VA Medical Center, the East Orange Veterans Campus, Operation Beachhead members, and active duty Coast Guard.

2018 is starting out to be another great year for Operation Beachhead.
